NASHVILLE, TN — Acclaimed Chicago hospitality giant Boka Restaurant Group has officially entered the Nashville market, launching three side-by-side concepts in the vibrant Wedgewood Houston neighborhood. The expansion marks the multiconcept operator’s first venture into Music City.

Anchoring the 18-acre development are Tennessee outposts of two of Boka’s celebrated Chicago staples. Momotaro, a premium Japanese concept created with chef Gene Kato, brings its signature robata grill items, along with Nashville-exclusive dishes like Hot Chicken Mapo. Next door is Alla Vita, a relaxed Italian eatery by Michelin-starred chef Lee Wolen, featuring wood-fired pizzas and handmade pastas.

Bridging the two restaurants is Middleman, a sophisticated standalone cocktail bar helmed by beverage director Ashley Santoro. Middleman highlights distinct Southern profiles, showcasing vintage liqueurs and a pickle-brine-infused martini. Co-founders Kevin Boehm and Rob Katz stated that the neighborhood’s deep-rooted hospitality made it the perfect fit for Boka’s growing national footprint.
